Status: Professional [EuroTour] Age: 22 years Lives: Wigan Based: Clarkes Golf Centre, Rainford Age started to play: 12 years Strengths: Driving both in terms of Power & Accuracy Driving Distance [Average]: 290 yards Driver Clubbed Speed: 112-115mph Currently Working on: Keeping the club face square-to-path from hip-to-hip [the impact area] & Developing an efficient practice plan to prevent injuries. Aspirations: To compete on the PGA Tour About Scott: Scott started using Barry for all his lessons from October 2014 having visited occasionally prior to that. A specific 'short game' lesson in June 2013 was rewarded with victory on the Lancashire 'Players Tour' event - a lucky charm some may say! Having got his handicap down to 2, Scott turned professional in 2012 and has recently got his card for the Euro Tour - a great achievement. Hip surgery in the winter of 2014 has slowed things somewhat and has reduced Scott's time on the course - or indeed with the club at all at some points. However, some strong results in 2015 so far have brought promise of good things going forward. |
